| Underclassmen Involvement |
Responsible for giving experience to underclass ISU-AMA
members in doing fundraising, social events, speakers, and
other activities.

| Research & Development |
Responsible for conducting research surveys consisting
of members' ideas, suggestions, and opinions for various
activities within ISU-AMA, and also guest speaker evaluations.
This committee could also do research for businesses to
earn money for ISU-AMA.

| Webmaster |
The Webmaster is in charge of maintaining and updating
the ISU-AMA Web site.
|
| Business Week |
Helps organize fall College of Business events
to promote interaction between College of Business organizations
and plan Business Week.
Attends monthly Business Week meetings, and reports to the AMA officers
once a month.
|
|
Creative Design and Display Committee |
One of the activities of this committee will be to work
on a float or presentation for ISU Homecoming parade. Other
activities may be assigned by the President as needed.

| Entertainment |
The entertainment committee schedules various social
events for AMA members. This committee will be expected to
set up social events and communicate those social events to
the members of the executive board and the members of
American Marketing Association. Members of the entertainment
committee will be expected to attend social events whenever
possible.

| Tours |
The Tours Committee provides interesting and relevant
tours of companies and facilities that are of interest to
AMA members. This committee will be expected to set up tours
and communicate those tours to the members of the executive
board and the members of American Marketing Association.
Members of the Tours Committee will be expected to attend
tours whenever possible.

| Programs |
The primary purpose of the programs committee is to schedule
speakers that will be informative, interesting, and beneficial
to AMA members. The committee should have speakers from
multiple areas within the marketing profession. The committee
must contact the speaker, set up dates, get rooms reserved,
and maintain correspondence with the speaker. This committee
is also responsible for setting up rooms to hold general
AMA meetings and other events. The members of the programs
committee will be expected to attend speakers whenever
possible.

| Special Events |
The Special Events Committee is
involved with the planning and production of special events
such as: ISU Idol, ISU Top Model and of
the ISU-AMA Formal.
|
| Faculty/Student Services |
This committee's function is to keep up a good image of
the ISU-AMA with the marketing faculty and the College of
Business by arranging luncheons and social hours for the
faculty and students. In addition, it notifies the marketing
faculty about AMA events.

| Advertising & Promotion |
Advertising and Promotion is responsible for 95% of the
advertising that takes place in AMA. Members gain experience
by being creative and designing layouts and coordinating
advertising campaigns.

| Public Relations and Community Service |
The objective of this committee is to promote AMA's good
name in the community by providing community services to
the Bloomington/Normal area including ISU and the College
of Business. Past community services have
included visits to a nursing home, blood drives, Habitat
for Humanity, food drives, clothing drives, etc.

| Personal Communications |
The Personal Communications Committee represents a direct
communication channel between the American Marketing Association
and the students. This committee is responsible for informing
members of upcoming events through classroom announcements,
e-mail, AIM and the telephone. This committee also gives presentations
about marketing and ISU-AMA in high schools and community
colleges.

| Internal Communications |
Internal Communications maintains communication with all
members of AMA through newsletters and monthly ISU-AMA calendars.
|
| External Communications and Publicity |
External Communications maintains communication with the
college, university, and the community through press releases,
ISU and College of Business calendars, and display cases.
|
| Photo/Historian |
The purpose of photo/historian is to keep a historical
record of AMA functions throughout the school year by taking
photographs of AMA events, making a scrapbook, and keeping
records for the history file to be passed on through the
years. You need to have a camera. This person is also involved
with giving a visual presentation of past events at ISU-AMA
informational meetings through a slide or video presentation.

| Accountant |
The accountant will work with the Vice-President of Finance
and help maintain records on the financial flows of the
organization. Statements on financial status and budgets will also be
made.
|
| Membership |
Membership is responsible for bringing new members into
AMA through planning membership drives in the beginning
of each semester. Recruiting throughout the year is also
key. Keeping updated enrollment statistics of members is
also done.
|
| Alumni |
The alumni committee will serve as a liaison between
AMA and its graduated members. It is vital to keep accurate
records of the alumni in order to be able to contact and
inform them about AMA events. It will also plan alumni receptions
and other alumni related events.
|
| Fundraising |
Fundraising is a key committee for AMA. Without raising
funds our organization cannot remain strong. In order to
raise money various activities can be implemented such as
corporate sponsorships, raffles, car washes, and any other innovative
ways.
|
| Sponsorship |
To coordinate internal AMA sponsored events and seek
external sponsorship relationships to assist AMA in
achieving desired organization goals
|
| Internal Involvement |
The purpose of internal involvement is to keep track of
member activity through a points system and decide on a
member of the month. Points are also tallied throughout
the year to determine most active members and directors.
|
