To join the Illinois State Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association you need to pick up application and record forms. You can find them in the Marketing Department Office (352 COB).

You can also download a member application if you have an Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you already have the reader installed on your computer it is not necessary to download it again. The download for the reader is free. You will also need to fill out a Member Information Record Form which which you can access below and print.

The local dues are $40/yr. However, on the AMA Membership Application Form you will mark $45 for National Collegiate Membership Dues. The check should be made out to "ISU-AMA" for $85 which will cover both the local and national dues. [Note: if you are paying by credit card for the national dues, the check only will be for $40 to cover the local dues.] In addition to the AMA Membership Applcation Form, all members, new and returning, need to fill out a Member Information Record Form.

If you are joining during the second semester (Spring) the local dues will only be $20. So you should write a check for $65.

Ordering an ISU-AMA Shirt.
For a limited time, members can order an ISU-AMA shirt for $18. It is a high quality and very attractive shirt. If you decide to order the shirt, you can write one check for $100 to "ISU-AMA" [international dues ($45) + local dues ($40) + shirt ($18) = $103]. The order form below shows the design. Please turn in the order form with your membership application.

If you are graduating at the end of fall semester, you will only pay $20 for local dues so your check will be for $65. If you are a returning member, you will pay $40 now for local dues and $45 when you get the renewal in the mail from the national AMA headquarters. Please do not return the renewal yourself but bring it to us. We will collect all the renewals and send them in.

When you graduate from ISU, you will be able to get a "bridge" membership at a much reduced rate in order to join a professional AMA chapter. However you must be a student member to get the bridge membership rate. Click here for Bridge Application Form.
You will need to send your Bridge Application directly to the AMA Headquarters.

Dr. Cox's office is 322 College of Business Building (COB). You may give the membership application, check, and member info record form to Dr. Cox. If he is not in his office, you may slide it under his door. You may also drop off your application in the Department of Marketing Office (352 COB).
