ISSF NEXT GENERAL MEETING: MONDAY APRIL 23RD, 2012 @7PM
The next Illinois State Students of Finance meeting will be held on Monday April 23rd, 2012 at 7pm in 366 State Farm hall of Business. The speaker will be Mr. Brian Finch a Bloomington real estate appraiser and investment analyst who holds the prestigious Member, Appraisial Institute (MAI) designation. Mr. Finch has has extensive experience in analyzing and valuing residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate. He spoke to our group a few years ago and was well received by members. ELECTIONS FOR 2012-2013 OFFICERS WILL BE HELD AFTER THE PRESENTATION. We will have pizza at 6:00pm or so in the SFHB 234 for those who want to come early and talk informally with our speaker and fellow ISSF members. [ FULL DETAILS ]

The speaker will be Mr. Tim Pantaleone an ISU finance graduate who has worked for several years as a Financial Business Analyst at State Farm. He will talk about his work as a Financial Business Analyst and offer general advice on work and careers, and answer members questions. We will have pizza in SFHB 234 @6pm or so for those who want to come early and talk informally with the speaker and fellow ISU finance students. The next Illinois State Students of Finance meeting will be held on Monday March 5th, 2012 at 7pm in 366 State Farm Hall of Business. The speakers will be Mr. Eric Schlipf, who earlier worked as a stock analyist with Baird & Co., holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations, so he will talk about careers in both the analyst/portfolio field and the personal financing/wealth management field. He spoke to our group in Fall 2008 and was very well received by our members. We will have pizza at 6:00pm or so in SFHB for those who want to come early and talk informally with the speaker and fellow ISU finance students. ISSF NEXT GENERAL MEETING: MONDAY FEBRUARY 13TH, 2012 @7PM
The next Illinois State Students of Finance meeting will be held on Monday February 13th, 2012 at 7pm in 366 State Farm Hall of Business. The speakers will be three credit analysts with ProPartners Financial, an agricultural lending organziation affiliated with the Illinois Farm Bureau. The trio consists of ISU finance grad Beth Massaro and her colleagues Rich Curtis and Scott McCoskey, both of whom have backgrounds as credit analysts in both bank and business lending. The team will discuss their work in credit analysis, offer career advice, and answer audience questions. We will have pizza at 6:00pm in 234 SFHB for those who want to come early and talk informally with the speakers and fellow ISU Finance students.
